House Captains Needed

We're Looking for a Few Good Men and Women!

We are looking for volunteers to fill the position of House Captain during the upcoming workdays.  House Captains are the most important role at Rebuilding Together Saratoga. They are the overall project manager and leader on the project.  They decide on the scope of work to be accomplished at the chosen site (perform site previews), plan for a safe realistic and meaningful project, work with Rebuilding staff to secure necessary materials, determine the number of volunteers needed for the job and direct volunteers on the workday. The position requires about 25 hours of volunteer time including the workday.  First time House Captains will be teamed with an experienced House Captain for your first project. This is an extremely rewarding role and will provide you with the satisfaction of seeing the results of all the hard work that you and your crew accomplish and the joy and appreciation of the homeowners you helped.

A basic to intermediate understanding of general home repair is all that's needed.  We will team you up with skilled volunteers who will work with you in all aspects of the pre-planning, workday and post activities.
